Are Evangelicals Really Anglican?

25 June 2021 – an evening for BDEF clergy members with Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali.

It has been said that evangelicals have no doctrine of the church. To what extent is this true? What have we got right, and what do we still need to learn. We will be interacting with Bishop Michael to explore what a proper ecclesiology looks like.

To register please use the form below. The meeting is open to all clergy members of BDEF, who are free to invite / bring one other member of the clergy if you wish.

Bishop Michael was the 106th Bishop of Rochester, for 15 years, until 1 September 2009.  He is originally from Southwest Asia and was the first Diocesan Bishop in the Church of England born abroad.  He was appointed in 1994.  Before that he was the General Secretary of CMS from 1989-1994 and prior to holding this position was Bishop of Raiwind in Pakistan.  He is currently President of OXTRAD (Oxford Centre for Training, Research, Advocacy and Dialogue).

We would also love to see you the following morning for the open meeting with Bishop Michael, and then to stay for our Annual Meeting. Further details of the Annual Meeting, including elections, are available here.
